It seems kind of silly now, but back then this little video took the nation by storm. The Chicago Bears became America's team.
This is a decanter in the design of the Lombardi Trophy. Made by Old Spice the bottom section is plastic with decals and the top is a glass football filled with after shave.
. This is actually a large Bears paperweight that symbolizes the 1895 Super Bowl ring.
Of course, these 2 items are in my collection
I remember buying the program at the 1997 Fan Convention for $5.00 in MINT condition. The guy had a stack of them. Good luck getting one of these now.
In 2001 Fleer Collectibles made a series of Super Bowl Tractor Trailers and I purchased this one.
Any reasonable Bear fan must hate the Packers...Yeah, I even hated Bart Starr, so there. My earliest memory is the ridiculous comparison of Nitchke (or however the f*ck you spell it) and Butkus...No comparison, Butkus was a far superior football player....
From Charles Martin slamming McMahon down, purposely trying to seriously hurt him , to Don Majkowski's pass from over the line of scrimmage....I JUST HATE THE PACKERS!!!!
I have lightened up in my old age on some Packer Fans, though. I carefully use the word "some". I have friends that are occasionally mentally disoriented who seemingly have chosen the Packers as their NFL team of choice (incidentally, I find that most idiot Packer Fans are also St. Louis Cardinal fans in baseball - go figure). I try to tolerate my friends who stray from the norms of common sense.
Most other packer fans are sheep-humping, toothless ignoramuses that move from trailor to trailor looking for cheese that has been recycled through a rat's a$$.
Here's a Packer Fan heading to the hills for some privacy.

Anybody that knows me will tell you that I am a Chicago Bears nut, hence my name of BearFanatic, and the "34", well, most will know who that represents. I just love Chicago Bear Football, and guess what? Yeah, I drink the Kool Aid. Win, or lose, I'm a positive fan. For the last 15 (or so) years I have developed a compulsion for Chicago Bears' collectibles, memorabilia and just plainly put....STUFF! If it says Chicago Bears on it, I want it. My collection has become embarrassingly vast and I am sure that this here blog will delve deeply into that fact. I'm sure there are other crazies out there like me, And I would like to compare notes. I would like hear about your collections. I've obtained some pretty normal and mainstream items, but on the other hand, I also have some unique ones. I hope that you enjoy looking at my collection...if I post a picture on here, that generally means that I have it. Feel free to ask questions and your comments are encouraged.
